About Eliza

Eliza Kelley, having trained in theatre beginning at the age of 5, began her training in film, TV, and voiceover as an adult with talents such as Clifton Powell, Katie Killacky-Toomey, Erica Arvold, Eliza Jane Schneider, Sean Astin, David Gray, Ned Lott, Stefan Cornicard, Jamie Thomason, and more. She worked alongside Robin Wright as a co-star in the final season of the Netflix series House of Cards (directed by Alik Sakharov) and more recently as a lead alongside Robert Carradine in the independent feature film Was Once a Hero. Additionally, she plays a major role as Cynthia Rothrock’s sister in the martial arts western Black Creek, with scenes with Richard Norton, Keith Cooke, Patrick Kilpatrick, and Don the Dragon Wilson.

A trilingual actress (English, German, and Spanish) who is known for performing her own stunts, Eliza blends personas and roles effortlessly. Because of her wide range of experiences, she portrays the stoic doctor, the frazzled mother, the intense lawyer, the compassionate social worker, and other emotionally dramatic roles with flawless dedication to the emotions she uses to connect with the audience.

Eliza understands the filmmaking acumen and brings professionalism to every set. Delving into the production world, Eliza has been asked to contribute in multiple ways, with directors and filmmakers acknowledging her longtime experience in the film world, from script to set to screen. Eliza’s ability to be a team player and work with both cast and crew in any capacity has become a trademark for her.

Some of Eliza’s favorite roles to date have been the series regular Mary Todd Lincoln in Legends and Lies: The Civil War and Lydia (a lead role written for her) in the feature film Was Once a Hero.

Eliza resonates with the past and present, bringing truth to every character she embodies.
